Mana Tech Softex

The first Miami Immersion Program of 2025 has officially wrapped. This edition was hosted in partnership with Softex and Ingenio, two organizations with a long track record of supporting high-growth startups.

Ingenio, Uruguay’s leading business incubator, has backed over 60 startups and 170+ projects across different industries, from biotech to robotics. Softex, a major player in Brazil’s tech ecosystem, helps startups with high social impact scale their businesses.

This partnership further strengthened the connection between Miami and the growing tech communities in Brazil and Uruguay. It also marked the second successful partnership between  Mana Tech, Ingenio, and Softex—one that continues to help international founders take real steps toward U.S. expansion.

Meet the Startups:

This cohort of 21 startup founders from Uruguay and Brazil joined the program, each with a different background and industry focus.

After weeks of virtual prep, founders arrived in Miami to experience firsthand what it takes to scale in a new market, including the opportunity to:

  • Engage in in-depth conversations with experienced mentors who’ve navigated the U.S. market.
  • Meet investors, founders, and industry leaders that could open doors to future collaborations.
  • Gain honest insight into the realities of expansion, beyond glossy headlines and pitch decks.

As with every edition, the week ended with Demo Day hosted at Mana Tech HQ. Founders had the opportunity to pitch in front of a panel of judges, gaining feedback and exposure to potential investors and partners. After a strong round of pitches, Sofya was named this edition’s winner, while Sumeria earned the People’s Choice Award.

What’s Next?

Every program brings a new wave of founders, fresh ideas, and opportunities to connect international entrepreneurs with Miami’s growing tech community. Their journey toward expansion in the U.S. is underway, and Mana Tech will be supporting them every step of the way.

Building a business in a new market takes time, strategy, and the right network. That’s exactly what our program is built to provide.

For those looking to take the leap, the next Miami Immersion Program kicks off on October 6th, 2025
